I have created a new user account on an exchange 2003 server SP2 (windows 2003 standard R2) and for some reason it will not create an exchange mailbox even though the option is checked. It says the mailbox has been created but i do not see it in "Exchange system manager" and no email address appears in the new account i created.
I rebooted the server to be on the safe side.

I have tried copying a user account. Creating a new account from scratch and even from another server on the same domain and running exchange tasks to create the mailbox. I get no errors but i dont get an mailbox either.

I just started having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution to this problem?

Thanks,

Rob

Rob, perhaps you can start a new question and provide details so we can help you. What version of exchange are you using? Have you successfully created mailboxes on your exchange server before? What are the steps you are taking? etc… thanks.

I have Exchange 2003 SP2 running on Windows 2003. The problem was resolved by rebooting the Windows 2000 domain controller.
