I can create a SQL procedure using i series navigator but do not have any authority on the procedure. When i view the procedure on i series navigatore it show that iam the Definer, however when i try to change the permissions on the procedure i get following message CPFA09C Not authorized to object. OBJECT IS /QSYS.LIB/COGNOSMIS.LIB/PRTEST111.PGM

My As400 user profile belongs to *USER class with *NONE as special authorities.

I wish to work on SQL procedures using I series navigator rather that using the As400 command line.

The CPFA09C message indicates you do not have authority to the object OR one of the directories in the object path.

You'll need to talk to your security administrator to get the correct permissions.
