Answer Wiki:
I am using Windows-XP professional SP-2 ------------------------------- This happens when you have more than 1 user for the machine. Go to Control Panel -> Users. Remove all other users than your administrator account and remove the password from your account if you have one configured. That will solve your problems. ----------------------------- Try disabling the autologon change in tweak-ui. Reboot. Reset the autologon property, reboot and see if it works. Tweak-ui typically has no issue for autologon even with multiple accounts or even domain accounts.

Which is the operating system you are referring to?

I tested it on an XP SP3 box, with 3 user accounts (all of them with password configured), and it works like a charm.

What version of Tweak UI are you using ?
Are you trying to auto-logon with a domain account or a local one ?

I have only one user name. The Teak UI is version 2.10.0.0 for windows XP service pack 1 or higher.

Earlier it was working now it is not.
