Unfortunately the URL is longer than 123 characters and I can't use STRRMTCMD due to firewall restrictions. Using a batch file is not also an option. Is there any other way to do this?

Is the URL external to your facility?  If so, one of the URL compression utilities on the 'net may be of some help.

Thanks all for your response. Url acesses images on one of our unix boxes.  So I manage to get our web application people to rewrite their rules with shorter search criteria. Now it is down to 104. This was possible as we use only one search pattern. So it is fixed for the moment for this scenario. I will be keep looking for smarter solution.
