I know that in order to move a hyper-v guest server from one host to another you have to use the export command in order to move it. I am currently using Windows Backup to backup the hyper-v guest and have successfully restore the virtual on the same machine. But my problem is that I cannot restore the same virtual to another Hyper-V server. I would like to quickly migrate our virtual over to a second Hyper-V server. And importing/exporting is not a option since the virtual need to be online 24/7 Does anyone have any ideas as a good way to restore a virtual on another server without using import/ export?
