Q:
Hyper-V: Can't figure out how to copy a VHD file onto the Hyper-V server
I just installed the stand-alone version of Hyper-V on an HP DL380, and installed the Hyper-V management console on a Vista workstation. I'm able to create VM's/connect to the Hyper-V just fine. The problem is, can't figure out how to copy a VHD file onto the Hyper-V server. Since Windows Server is not running on the Hyper-V machine, I can't map a drive or otherwise copy the file. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here?

You can access shares from the command line in Hyper-V server. If you are on the domain, it is even easier.
