Hydrogen fuel cells for UPS

Has anyone used or at least considered hydrogen fuel cells for their UPS systems? I'm writing a story on hydrogen and wanted to know what people thought about it, and why or why not they'd consider it.

Haven't looked at Hydrogen Fuel Cells but am using Natural Gas to fuel our Generator. Each Workstation has its own UPS with a half hour capacity.. Hopefully enough time to get the generator online.
