Not much really happens except you are running it through another port.  Does not make much sense to do something like this, but, nothing bad happens.

INCORRECT – Really BAD things happen. Most HUBS allow this to happen, as they auto-crossover these days, but as they are not switches, they do not run spanning tree, so you create a loop, traffic goes round and round, and your network dies. .
