    This is a HUB and SPOKE network....I'm not using a hub as in hub,switch, router context

    Is the central point a L3 switch, or a router and switch combination? Are all of the spokes independent subnets? If the hub is actually RUNNING a routing protocol and you haven't got any ACL's that would specifically block traffic, then spokes should talk to each other. However, if you forgot to include "IP ROUTING", then each spoke can talk ONLY to the hub.
