Both HTTPS and SFTP are secure regarding data uploading.
What the last person said is exactly what the original post person Topmac already knows, that’s why they asked the question.

I would just like to say to Topmac I use HTTPS and everyone I know that hosts’ a secure site
uses HTTPS, I’m not an expert or even claim to know the answer to your question, but to state what I’ve stated. I don’t know anything about sftp? One sounds more like an ftp site watch more then the other, maybe that’s the difference.

    yes HTTPS is scure but make sure when you upload data to that site. uploaded data location should be https also. most of site have only user authontication is https enable. so make sure your upload location is realy https enabled.
