Hi
Sorry I did not answer earlier. If you still have not found the info you are after, see below.
There are several courses offerred by SAP and its partners. Instead of my listing the courses here, I suggest you go to the website:-
http://www.sap.com/australia/services/education/catalog/index.epx
The courses you need to take depends on what your purpose is. If you want to be a business user of SAP, you need to know the functionality and how to use it effectively. If you want to become a Functional Consultant, you need to learn more - you need to understand how the different aspects of HCM (or HR) are configured. Here again, there is a number of courses.
As I said before, depending upon your goals, you need to take up the courses.
Then the courses can be (1)class room based (2)on-line self-learning (3)self-learning based on CD/ROM or DVD. Self learning can cover some aspects but they may not be suitable for everything. Class room based courses have the advantage of being able to learn from the horse's mouth and interact with people who know well. There will be case studies and workshops which help you to learn well.
Then you need to decide on i)Going through all the courses in one shot or (ii)doing at your own pace. Each has its advantages and disadvantages.
Learning or doing a course is just the beginning! It is like getting a university degree. It is not all.
You need to apply the knowledge. You need to find someone to take you as a beginner. Or if you are already working, then you need to find a way to use the knowledge. You may need to sacrifice something to get a benefit.
All the best!!!
Regards JG
