My setup of an HP5si printer continues to fail - actually goes to a PND status, then the writer ends and the file staus changes to RDY. The device description is below.
I have tried many setting changes but to no avail. The printer works great from Windows and I can ping it and it 'looks' like it is printing - but it only cycles from PND to RDY.
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks.

Does the printer have IPDS capability? PND status should show when an IPDS spooled file is being prepared.
If the printer isn’t IPDS capable, then you need to change how you’re generating the spooled files or add IPDS to the printer. This has no useful relationship to whether Windows can print to it or not — those are almost certainly not IPDS spooled files.
