Download the RAID driver and software depending on the make and model you are using. You'll find the HP link
here for these machines.
Once you have the RAID driver you can boot from the Windows (presuming you are using Windows)disk F6 install the RAID drivers and follow the bouncing ball (i.e next, next, next and finish :-))

Actually, it seems more like what Loganoop is after is how to configure RAID without using the HP SmartStart CD. You should be able to configure the RAID controller manually by pressing the correct key during POST. When you see the status for the RAID controller come up, look for the function key or key combination to press in order to being up the configuration console.
2 ways...CTRL-M during the POST, and this will bring you to the BIOS level of the RAID Controller...wait for the RAID controller to POST to hit CTRL-M...OR, Once you have Windows loaded (assuming it is Windows), download the NETRaid utils from HP and use them.
