 HP Officejet Pro 8100 working with AS/400
AS/400 v5r4, hp office jet 8100
does anyone know how to configure the hp officejet pro 8100 to work o the ibm as400 ?

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 is a PC printer. It is only supported for MAC OS X, Linux and Windows XP and later.

For IBM i printer support, you should always see the Information on Printers from Various Manufacturers page. From there, you can link to the HP printers page. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 is not listed.

You can try the *HP520 or *HPCOLORLJ ‘Manufacturer type’ setting along with any appropriate attributes from the 8100 user manual such as communication port. If anything works, you will be lucky.
