 HP OfficeJet 6500A iseries configuration
HP Printing
trouble configuring HP Deskjet 6500A, tried as remote output queue also created a device. Any suggestion on how to configure this printer?

Try IBM’s Information on Printers from Various Manufacturers page, which links to the HP printers page, which lists the HP Officejet 6500 as a supported printer.

I apologize it’s an HP OfficeJet 6500A E710n-z which states its a windows only printer, will this printer work and how do I configure it. Thanks

What is stating that it’s “a windows only printer”? Where are you seeing that?

How is your printer connected to the network?

Hi tom,
Printer is IP attached, I was able to print to the printer configured as a HP520 with Host Print Transform = * yes and System Driver Program = *IBMSNMPDRV. Is there a way to specify landscape printing?
