HP ML110 G5 server Raid error
I use a HP ML110 G5 Server with RAID1. When the Raid was broken and i rebuilt it under Windows 2003 Server with the Array Configuration Tool it worked. When the rebuild is finished, some data on the drives are destroyed and the system is unable to reboot. Any suggestions? user submitted

Answer Wiki:
Since RAID 1 is an exact mirror, it sounds like corruption may have occured before the drive failed. Remove the failed drive and try booting to the OS. If you still can't bring the OS back up, restore from backup or repair install the OS Make sure you have the exact same drives for you array. You cannot use any SATA drives. Been there, burnet my fingers. Use RAID ready drives such as HPG6
