 HP Compaq nc6400 log on problem

I have disassociated the profile on my laptop - system, Network ID. When offered a password to log onto Windows, I can't log on. Does anyone know the username & password on how I can log on to Windows?

The nc6400 is generally configured with a fingerprint reader.If yours is, enter the BIOS and disable the TPM chip. This should allow access to the system.

If you do not have the fingerprint reader installed, you should be able to enumerate the accounts installed and change their passwords using the Linux based Ultimate Boot CD (the basic UBCD for Windows does not allow this).
