How to validate and reset Controls on the form Using JavaScript at click Event

Hi All,
My application is in VS2010 using Silverlight and coded in C#.Net.
I have a form with different controls like Textboxes,comboboxes,Imagebox etc.
I also have a Cancel button.My requirement is when i click on Cancel button all the Controls should be reset to its default State.
I also want to validate my controls.
I want to do this using JavaScript.can i create JavaScript in my XAML.
If yes please guide how to reset and validate.
