Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

As soon as you figure it out, I’d like to know as well! I like the service that the Knowledge Exchange provides, but I get too many emails, and the options to change it (like to receive one “digest” email a day) do not work. I’ve tried changing the setting to “send me NO email” and I still get them. My next step is to completely block any emails from this domain, however I don’t like to take such a severe step because I do receive useful information from time to time. Hey guys at ITKnowledge Exchange, I think you need to address issues with your service lest you begin losing people left and right!

Hi There are a couple of options available to you. a) In any IT Knowledge Exchange (ITKE) email (question or reply) that hits your inbox there is a link for editing your email preferences at http://searchSecurity.techtarget.com/ITKnowledgeExchange/editProfile which you can access. Once logged in to your profile you can specify that email should never be sent. b) From within your ITKE mail box there is a tab for "MY PUBLIC PROFILE". Click on the tab and then click on the button to "EDIT PROFILE PREFS" and change the settings so email is never sent. Hope it helps Jonathan www.astradyne-uk.com

I know the post is old. Why quit? There are a lot of users that can benefit from your knowledge. Granted you may not have the time to continue at the level you did, so just cut back to one or 2 topics. IF you feel you must quit, the when you get an email from a topic, at the bottom in small print under the  "About This Email" is an unsubscribe link. You would need to do this for any topics you signed up for. You can also edit your "Tech Target Account"  (link is next to your name and points earned) then un-check the boxes at the bottom for updates and news letter.

Contact the ITKE Administrator for this matter. I think the admin can help you in this regard.

You might have applied earlier for multiple subscriptions. In each mailer there is a hyperlink to unsubscribe. Try that, it must work.

Within "Edit My TechTarget Account," in the upper-right part of the screen, check the "Unsubscribe me from all TechTarget e-mails." This presumably will remove all the subscriptions. However, when submitted it takes you right to this conversation without any confirmation. If that doesn't work the company can reported to the FCC for opt-out violations.

Just about every e-mail I get from this site as well as it's sponsors and the others all have a link to unsubscribe. You just have to look for it at the very bottom of the email. It's usually in the small disclaimer print. If you continue to get them most have a link for that sites webmaster. It may take a day or two but I have not had any issues with it continuing after I unsubscribed.
