How to take as400 backup on same hardisk
MQ, AS/400, V5R4, V5R3
I have AS400 V5R3 and V5R4 servers. please let me know how to take backup of these servers on the same server hard Disk. Question

Hi,
You can backup to disk by doing a save to a save file (specify *SAVF as the device on your save command).
You'll need to create the save file first by using the CRTSAVF command.

If you are using BRMS to backup your servers, there is an option on the policy to save to savf instead of tape.
