How to stop my laptop freezing, then blue screen and then rebooting
My laptop Hp Pavilion dv2000 AMD TURION 64X2 DUAL-CORE The laptop, after a short period of time working, Freezes then the blue screen of death appears if I wait a little bit will reboot by it self. I went to Microsoft updates plus the Nvidia, also to Hp website to see if I can get any help I tried everything they told me to do and still freezing, blue screen and shooting down and reboot again.

i think ur laptop's windows has been corrupted or any programe file is missing , now either repair windows or reinstall it one more thing can be done restart ur laptop press f8 key than boot into last known good configuration definitly will help u out bye

Try to boot your os in Safe mode and try to restore you laptop for older date.

For future reference: I’ve often seen heat do this as well. Check and clean fans and make sure vents are unobstructed. Check also for proper clearance beneath laptop and not on blanket, etc. It needs to breathe! :) When the CPU overheats, you can definitely experience the issues described in the question posed here.

I’ve personally had two laptops like that, both of which I’ve never had another issue with once I cleaned. (For prevention, I keep one on a cooling pad which has two fans in it…yes, I know those are controversial…but the laptop continues to run with no more freezing!)
