Issue: When sorting email messages using FROM field, emails from Jane Doe appear with multiple display names. For example: FROM field = Jane Email address in email header = Jane [jdoe@email.com] FROM field = jdoe@email.com Even though Jane appears in my Outlook Contacts as: Full name: Jane Doe File as: Doe, Jane Email address: jane@email.com Display name as: Jane Doe Can I sort them by email address and not display name? Currently I have to look through the emails FROM "Jane" then scroll down past some other names and look through a second group of emails FROM "jdoe@email.com" Can Outlook group them both together since they come from the same email address?

Software/Hardware used:
Windows XP Professional, MS Office Professional Edition 2003

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Within your Outlook add to the column (field chooser, “Email Account”. You then can sort it by the actual e-mail address.

Aquacer0: When I add the EMAIL ACCOUNT field to my inbox, the field only displays my email address, not the email address of the people who sent me an email.
