Please clarify your question. I don't understand what you need. . When do you want to send any message? Where do you want to send it? How does "on control group BRMS" relate to sending any message? . Tom

Notification messages can be set up for BRMS, but I don't have the product to see how it's done. If you use the iSeries Navigator BRMS plug-in, there are instructions available in the Information Center and at a couple other IBM sites for the GUI procedure. . It can be done. In general, notification messaging is configured in global policy properties, if you know how to modify those. But that's about as much as I know. . Tom

In the BRMS policies you can specify whether Interactive Users should be signed off. If you state *YES BRMS sends out a predefined message to interactive users allowing the to signoff. On the other hand you can use any OS400 command on the EXIT's in the BRMS Control Groups. In case messages are needed to monitor the status of a control group you should consider running the STRBKUBRM command from a CL program. That can use monitor messages to control errors occurring on control groups.
