 How to setup private/public networks on VMWare
Dual NICs Routing, Virtual Machines, Virtual networking, Virtualization in 2010, VMware, VMware ESXI 4.0
Like to connect one NIC card to a public switch so everyone can access that server, and another NIC connects to a private switch (network) to access the private network. Right now after install ESXi 4, only the pubic link works. Anything I need to configure in VMWare to make it work? Thanks! -Steve

Have you setup a separate vSwitch for each network and ensured that the guests are assigned to the correct vSwitch?

I did not in the first, after added the new vSwitch and created new network adapter in the VM to associated with the private vSwitch, it worked. Thanks!!!
