How can I see the Workspace in Lotus Notes Client?

To simply access the Lotus Notes client workspace, do this: 1. Start your Lotus Notes client. 2. Single-LEFT-mouse-click on the "Databases" icon in the client's bookmark bar (the vertical bar that runs up and down the far left side of your Lotus Notes client). 3. Single-LEFT-mouse-click on the "Workspace" icon. Or, to re-configure your Lotus Notes client to use the workspace as its "home page", do this: 1. Start your Lotus Notes client. 2. Single-LEFT-mouse-click on the "Databases" icon in the client's bookmark bar (the vertical bar that runs up and down the far left side of your Lotus Notes client). 3. Single-RIGHT-mouse-click on the "Workspace" icon. 4. Single-LEFT-mouse-click on the "Set Bookmark as Home Page" pop-up menu choice. 5. Answer "Yes" when prompted to confirm. In LN 8.5 you can click on the "open button" then point to "applications" and click "workspace". To open the mail, click the open button again and you will find the mail.

FWIW – I also will drag the icon for the Workspace to my main Bookmarks Bar so it shows in the bar if I have it “docked” or in the “Open” drop down in Notes 8.
