What Oracle 10g version are you running? The name “10g” is really just a marketing term. Actual version numbers are needed. Client version 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.5 and later) are supported on Win 7 which you seem to be running with IE 8. — Tom

Do the following:

Go to your

C:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\server\formsweb.cfg
and change

baseHTMLjinitiator=basejini.htm

to

baseHTMLjinitiator=basejpi.htm

I don’t know of a site where the patch can be downloaded for free.

AFAIK, you can only download patches from the Oracle Support site if you have access (i.e. you have paid for a support contract)

First of all thank you for all your help
especialy @Carlosdl: the run it woks to me by using Netscape 4.7 and Jintiator 1.3.1.22 thanks
Now i have a problem to execute forms application with a cut of Netscape in the desktopn, i have done that the last year BUT i can’t remember it, i know that we have to make the Url on the property of Netscape But what is this Url? i forgot…!!!

I’m facing the same problem, I already started the OC4J, I have 3 JInitiator installed on my machine (versions 1.3.1.18, 1.3.1.21, 1.3.1.22) but when I run a form, IE opens and only shows ORACLE FORMS, and then IE shutdowns. What can be the problem?
