I am a novice at Lotus Notes Domino Designer and need to retrieve a rich text field in a view. Can you offer any suggestions for a simple way to do this, such as formulas to use? I am running Designer 7.0.2. I am not very familiar with Lotusscript. Thanks!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Assuming the data is text you should be able to use @abstract within a computed field and then show that value in the view..

BruceWayne add :
1) Create a computed field in your form which the @formula :
@Abstract([TextOnly] ; 64000 ; “” ; “MyRichTextFieldName”)

2) Then in you view, create a column which point to that field “MyRichTextFieldName”

3) You should then view the content (in full text, no file attached, no OLE object, no image) of your richtext field in this column
I tried on 22-10-2012 it’s working perfect…

    It's really fantastic answer...
    I was only aware that we can not include richtext under the view column...But using your answer I can also display through the view.
