In the user’s Person document in the Domino directory, set Check Password to ‘Check Password.’ Once the authorized user sets a password, the other users will not be able to log in with the ID.

Remove the ID from the Domino Directory / and anywhere else. If the ID does not have a password the password digest may not work until one is set.... that would need to be done as well as what is stated above.... which is correct and a very good idea. You could also restrict access to the server for that ID and then check to see where the ID's are by setting events to emial you ip's etc.

The other thing that you could do..... if possible in your network would be to install a 8.5.x Domino server and configure ID vault on the server to deal with ID issues. This would give you an ID VAULT for password store and password resets etc. It will also give you the ability to do a key roll over and change the certs in the ID's themselves. This making the ID completely different and only those with the password could download the new ID. Might be worth a shot
