Hi,

What sort of database? What Operating System? Please be more specific with your questions.

Regards,

Martin Gilbert.

This is a very vague question. Please submit more information related to the database (SQL, MYSql, Postgres, etc.) and the underlying operating system (Windows 2KX, Linux, HP-UX, Solaris)

Yes, please provide the details. Is this SQL, Oracle, Access, what? And what version of the database application as well? Also, what backup system are you using? Thanks.

Generally speaking you would have to restore this database from a backup of some sort. If you don’t have a backup then the database is lost.

Yes as already stated without a backup the database is gone. Maybe your network admins do backups on a drive or server level, if so maybe they can restore the data file.
