There is no way for us to know because we don’t know what created the file. Anyone can name any file with a .SV5 extension. Without telling us what created the file, we can’t know how to open it. In general, you open it with the same application that created it. There are at least three different common applications that use .SV5 files, but there can be any number of others. Usually, if it’s your file, you are the one who knows how to open it. If it’s not your file, then it’s up to you to search out all possibilities. If you tell us where the file came from, we might be able to suggest possibilities. — Tom
