    It might depend on what your .BUP file is. A number of applications are known to use .BUP as a file extension, and anyone can create a file with that extension at any time for any reason. The only kind of .BUP file that I'm aware of that has anything to do with "play" is a kind of backup file for video volumes, and they aren't exactly 'played' by anything. . If it's your file, you should know what created it. You would use the same application to do whatever can be done with. It's possible that the only thing that can be done with it is to use it to help recover backup information, and the only application that would do that reliably would be the program that created it. . If someone sent it to you, then you need to ask the sender what to do with it. . If you didn't create it and it wasn't sent to you, you need to describe how you got it or something more about it so someone can make some useful guesses. . Tom
