 perform IPL at anytime, when a backup is running in cluster(v7R1)

How to perform IPL in iSeries server (Main server) when backup running in Cluster (backup server). I want to perform IPL at anytime, including when a backup is running in cluster. Is there any consequences if we perform IPL when backup is running in cluster? Please provide me the procedure and explain the situation in detail. With Regards, GK

u cant perform IPL when cluster is UP. Before doing IPL, u want to down the cluster.
