If you are not able to your OST file data then, you can convert it to PST file. Then import the converted PST file into Outlook. You can now easily access your mailbox data into Outlook.

For performing OST to PST conversion, you would require an OST to PST converter software.

Virus checking is also an important part to confirm if ur pc is not affected by virus. Or u can re-create an offline outlook data file (.ost).

They r simply copies of exchange information. It is not necessary to back up this file. It can create a new copy at any time.
