Hi, I need a Windows utility to display the log file (step by setp) when updates to the log file is in process from a running batch application. I know there is a utility for Linux/Unix. Is there any similar utility or command to view in windows environment? Thanks Vivek

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

this log viewer states that it can work on live log files and can auto refresh to show updated info without having to reload the file:

hope it helps!

You can also google for tail.exe. It’s been ported from *nix to Windows.
