just borrowed a dell latitude d610 laptop for a quick remote audio recording session.i tried
to record via its built-in mic input using at first a microphone then a minidisc player via its headphone out through the laptops mic/line input. i tried recording using soundforge,adobe audition,and acid foundry but couldnt hear/monitor the signals. it recorded the said devices, but unlike using most desktops
which im familiar with, i cant seem to hear the incoming signal?! yes, i configured the soundcard properties to record both the mic and or the stereo mixer input,but to no avail.
love to hear yer suggestions regarding this matter at the soonest possible time.advance thanks.
