Hi

Is there a way to determine QZDASOINIT that has been logged in the system more that a day? I noticed our QZDASOINIT, QSQSRVR, QRWTSRVR connections are growing.

How can this be monitored efficiently which seems that the job is running more thatn a day ago. Probably a run away process from disconnections that the iSeries system was not terminated.

Is there a way to monitor this connections, showing who the connected user is and its details ? (e.g. QZDASOINIT USER logged since DATE)

Similar above, since most of this connections are from external units connected via system profile to iSeries, is there a way to monitor IP address connected to the system and what jobs are presently running under this connection/IP?

Note: IPL is perform monthly.

I am not exactly sure what you want to accomplish, but doing a DSPLOG JOB(QZDASOINIT) command will give you plenty of info about the Jobs and users connected to them including IP info.
ODBC exit programs could prove to be another usefull route into getting more information about established connections.
A third source of information could be through the NETSTAT screen and option 3.
