File recovery
Today, accidentally my photoshop has closed at that time I am working on my demo template work from last 2 months, so again I open my .psd file error prompt “could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of photoshop”. Several times I tried but it can’t open my .psd file. If anyone faces this type problem or has any solution to solve this I will be very thankful to you, of course its my two months hard work.

Software/Hardware used:
Adobe Photoshop, MS Windows

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Try opening the file with another program.  Maybe it has something that Photoshop just doesn’t like.  I just read that layers more than 30K pixels wide can make the file unreadable to Photoshop.

The best option I could think of right now is GIMP (it is free).

Do we need to assume the you have not been backup up your data?
    Have you upgraded you photoshop?
With the error message you get, it seems like the data may be there by the version level of the file is not the same as the version level of the production. If they are different, see if you can get a copy of the software that matches your file.
