How to make barebones bootable CD from Windows XP sp3? It is a legal copy of Windows XP with all service packs added over time. I need this to refresh a dll on another Windows XP sp3 PC. I cannot do the following to the other PC: (because it is under specific controls) Use an ISO image CD. Do a Windows XP repair. NTFS is the file system so I think DOS 6.22 CD is not a choice. I think I need something like: NTLDR, boot.ini, i386 folder, CD drivers, I need a Copy, Xcopy, or Expand command. I tried refrshing the dll in safe mode in other PC and also using a simple Xcopy command but the dll is locked. dll is shdocvw.dll which is an shell doc command. Virus scan finds nothing on other PC. Has anyone made a barebones Windows XP sp3 boot CD for refreshing a system dll?

Software/Hardware used:
Windows XP sp3
