 How to install PTF groups
I am trying to get Web Query running but not all of the required PTFs appear to be loaded. When I check the PTF groups I have SF99291 & SF99114 showing as "Not Installed" amongst a number of others which are showing as installed. How to do I move these two ptf groups to installed?

IBM’s choice of descriptive terms for PTF groups always seems challenging to me. I think in your that one or more PTFs in those isn’t applied yet. Display the PTFs in the group to see if any didn’t apply the last time the group was applied. Look at details of those PTFs to see if any pre-requisites are needed or actions must be taken.

If the group hasn’t been applied yet, then apply it. You could use the GO PTF menu option to install a package, but iSeries Navigator might be better (if you’ve been keeping up with managing your system that way.) Drill into Configuration and Service-> Fixes Inventory. Right-click the package you want to install, and select Install… Follow the instruction in the wizard.
