 How to inform web site visitors that we have added a shorter domain name for easier access.

What is the best way to introduce a shorter domain name that is just forwarded to the existing web site?  The existing domain name will remain the same, I would appreciate some suggestions how to inform our visitors they can now type in a shorter domain name that is based around the theme of the web site without causing confusion?  Thank you for your time.

Thank you, I have already pointed the new Domain name to the existing site. I would appreciate a suggestion on the proper way to announce the new shorter Domain name for all the existing users. The original Domain name will remain the same.
