Answer Wiki:
In the control panel, go to system. If you have Vista click on advanced system settings, if you have XP click on the advanced tab. In the system properties advanced tab click on the setings button in the performance section. In the performance options window click on the advanced tab. In the Virtual memory section at the bottom click on the change button. Then select either Automatically manage paging file size, custom size or system managed size. Click on the set button and then ok on each of the windows to get back out. You'll have to reboot for the changes to take effect.
