You will easily export Outlook calendar in ICS format with the help of two methods:
Method 1:Manual way
By the using following steps you will easily import Outlook calendar to Lotus Notes:
Step1:- Open MS Outlook and click the “Calendar” icon. After that click on “File” and select the “save” button to save Calendar in “iCalendar” format. By the using this option you will easily export outlook calendar in ICS format. This option is not available in “export” menu function.
Step2:- Now Open Lotus Notes software and after that click on the “calendar” tab from the welcome page to open calendar. Now click “File” button and select the import button. Select the “iCalendar”(.ics) file format and click on the “Browse” button to locate the exported outlook calendar and Click on “import”.
Step3:- Click “Preview Entries” to preview and verify the data to be imported. Type a name for the calendar that you are importing and click “OK”.
Step4:- Click the “More” button above the calendar and click “Manage imported calendars”. The calendar entries you import are merged into your current calendar file. You also can use the “Manage imported calendars” option to delete, rename or use the imported calendar files that were created as separate calendar files if needed.
