How to hide addresses from the Exchange Address List in Exchange 2007?
I am looking for a way to hide email addresses from the Exchange Address List. In Exchange 2003 one could do this by going into the Exchange advanced tab and selecting the option - but I cannot find where I could do this in Exchange 2007, and my handy dandy Administrator's Pocket Consultant is not giving up any secrets. If anyone out there knows where I might locate this option in the 2007 version, I would be verygrateful, thanks.

Answer Wiki:
How about going into Exchange Management console and for maiboxes it's on the general tab. For groups it's on the advanced tab.

We’re having an issue where mailboxes that had the option checked in Exchange 2003 were hidden from the global address book; but now that we’ve migrated to Exchange 2007 any mailboxes that we try to hide are still visible. Tried to delete *.oab on the client local drive and resynchronize without success. Anyone else experience this? thanks.
