How can Oracle forms 6i get the value directly from barcode scanner.Can forms 6i interact directly with such hardware, if so then how... plz help.

What exactly do you want Forms to do with the scanner ?
If you just want to get the scanner output into one item in your form, you don't need to do anything, just put the focus to the item where you want to store it, and scan the bar code.
