How to get the modificationtime of a table, structure or record with

Im searching for a standard/general way to get the modificationtime of either a table, structure or record in a javaprogramm wich usese JCo to connect to SAP. Is there one and how does it work? Thanks for answering.

Any versionning software will do that for you like CVS and other products on the market.
If you would put a list of modifications and their reasons in a comment field at the top of the program that too might be of help

    Sorry but this is not what I'm asking for. I'm a programmer and I'm looking for a piece of javacode which will give me the modificationtime of a returnvalue of eather JCO.Record JCO.Table or JCO.Structure or maybe there is a RFM?
