Hi,

Do you have any email program on the AS400? Do you have iSeries Navigator? Are you using Client Access? There are several different ways of getting the PF to your PC depending on what you have available.
If you have Client Access you can do a File Transfer down to your PC in a .TXT format and then pull into Word and save as a Word Doc.
If you have iSeries Navigator you can also do a transfer from there. Also, you could send the PF to the IFS and then Map a connection to the IFS and get the file.

For a Spooled file, iSeries Navigator is the easiest. You don't even need to copy it to a PF. Open Navigator. Log in to you system. If it is your SPLF, go to Basic Operations - Printer Output If it is not your SPLF, go to Work Management - Output Queues and find the out queue the SPLF is in. (You will need rights to the out queue.) Find the SPLF, drag and drop it on your desktop. It will create a text file that you can use for whatever you need. Regards Mike
