To forward the Lotus Notes Emails to Gmail perform the given steps:

  • Begin by being in your mail tab in Lotus Notes.
  • Looking down the left side (below Inbox, ….. Tools) , not the Tools menu along the top.
  • In “Tools”, select “Rules.”
  • Click the  option “New Rule”
  • Select “All documents.” from the drop-down list under “Create condition
  • Click “Add”
  • Select the option “Send copy to.” from the drop-down menu under “Specify Actions.”
  • Type your Gmail email address in the “To:” field
  • Click “Add Action”

Hi, i would go with this solution: http://www.ehow.com/how_10045094_forward-emails-gmail-lotus-notes.html All documents + send copy to rule should be applied, this way there will be mails in the LN mailbox too. If you want mails to be forwarded automatically without having a copy there, then configure the forwarding address in the person document.

1st thing is that, is it an Office/ for ur home purpose. If office, Yes, u have to contact with ur administrator who takes care all about Lotus/ u have admin rights to do the job. If home/ personal, follow the steps as mentioned here.

If you are attached to a Domino server at work, most likely your Domino Administrator has configure the router on your mail server to prevent forwarding.  This is probably to prevent emails from being forwarded to an external account.  Once that external account fills up, it starts a loop of mail which could cause some serious issues.

If you are using a work Domino server, I would highly recommend that you contact your Domino Administrator and find out what the mail policy is.
