How to find the backed up size in iSeries

We need to find the amount of backup size in iSeries, for weekly, daily. any suggestions for a quick view?

WRKDSKSTS shows amount of storage used. You have 200GB at 30%, that should fit on a 60 gb tape. You can also consider some “TEST” or legacy library to exclude from your backup. Otherwise you need to consider a backup media with more capacity.

Nightly backup too many tapes for night operator to switch?
Backup to savefiles and write to media when day shift is available to switch data volumes.

    We need to find the amount of backup size in iSeries... What is a "backup size"? Do you want to know how big a savefile is after you save objects into it? Then use DSPOBJD to display the savefile object description. The size will be displayed on the 'Basic' panel. If not a savefile, then what medium are you using? Different media will have different procedures. Or do you want to know how big the objects are that you are saving in the different backups? You need to list those objects and review the object descriptions for them. The SAV* commands can output lists of objects if you specify that it should be done. Tom
