We use the Easy400 free mail product and it works very well. You don't even have to convert to pdf because you can either just email the report as the body of the email or as an attached pdf.

We have used Gumbo’s SNDSPLMAIL for years with great success.
The utility just plain works.
Price is reasonable.
Support is good.

If you have Advanced Job Scheduler, the SNDDSTJS function works well. This function also allows you to see what has been sent (throught the Iseries Navigator plug-in), unlike some of the third party apps, which just piggy back QMSF…
