I have been using SQL server 2018 R2 BPA for getting data from Microsoft. When using SQL Server 2005 to export results I could do so in a CSV format. When we upgraded two servers to Server 2008 I found that I could no longer run BPA 2005 on these. We then upgraded to 2008 R2, which again does not have the ability to save a report in CSV, although it does allow for XML. Many of our data collecting tools are configured to use CSV as input and output, and we don’t want to go through the messy process of reconfiguring the whole system. I have tried to use Excel to convert the data to CSV, but it didn’t work. Is there a way I can do this?
